Atari 2600 Battlezone Game Cartridge
(Atari - 1983)
Battlezone is a re-creation of the arcade hit, but don't expect the familiar vector based wireframe tanks and obstacles. This re-imagining of the classic game leaves you with a profound sense of disappointment. You only get a vague feeling of familiarity when you play this Atari 2600 version.
About the only thing that is true to the original is that you are in a tank... that just about sums it up for me anyway. I wish I could say it was more fun than it actually is but I can't.
Playability isn't terrible, but not great either. I would rate the gameplay for this one at 5-10 and the controls a 6-10. So my overall rating of 5-10 means that you might want to stay away from this one and try some other video game.
