Commodore 64 Galaxian Game Cartridge

Who doesn't remember the distinctive sounds and distinctive shapes of the alien vessels in Galaxian? In the Commodore version of this exciting space based shooter. Relentless and fierce, the Drones, Emissaries and Hornets lead the attack while the Commanders stand back to guide the battle. Your only hope of survival is to blast the sky clear of the invading swarms.

This version of Galaxian is true to the original arcade hit. With each level, the action gets faster and more difficult. Can you battle of the endless bombing runs of the alien vessels and save your people from annihilation?

Just like in the arcade, I find the first few levels of this game to be fun but it starts to get pretty repetitive and you will find yourself losing interest as the game moves on. The gameplay on this one rates a 6-10 and the controls a 8-10. I would give this Commodore 64 version of Galaxian an overall rating of 7-10.
