Commodore 64 Ms Pacman Game Cartridge
(Atarisoft - 1984)
This version of Ms Pac-Man was a refreshing divergence from the disappointing Commodore version of Pac-man. It was more faithful to the original arcade game than the Commodore 64 version of Pac-Man. The graphics and sounds are spot-on and the gameplay is about as close as you can get to the real arcade game.
Just as in the original, the Commodore 64 Ms Pacman eats dots in a variety of mazes while trying to avoid the four ghosts, Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Sue... and just as in the original arcade game, you get to watch animated intermission sequences every few levels.
Ms Pacman is a fun diversion, but chomping dots tends to get old after a few rounds. I would rate this game a 7-10 for playability and the controls 8-10. So in my opinion, this Ms. Pac-Man rates a 7-10 overall.
