Compute's Gazette - Premier Issue - July 1983
(COMPUTE! Publications/ABC Publishing Company)
Compute's Gazette was a spin off publication of the popular Compute! magazine and was dedicated to the Commodore 64 and VIC 20 computers. Since the C64 was such a successful platform, there was no lack of content for the publication.
The premier issue featured reviews, tips, tricks and articles by Commodore programmers. The main draw though was the type-in programs and tutorials that were featured. It was extremely popular back in the 8bit computing days to type in a program featured in a book or magazine then type "run" and see your hard work transformed into an interactive game or program.
