Run - Premier Issue - January 1984
(IDG Communications)
RUN Magazine was a publication that specifically targeted the Commodore 64 and the VIC-20 computers. It held a wealth of information, tips and tricks for programming with Commodore's popular 8bit line of computers.
The premier issue was eerily similar to the popular Compute's Gazette magazine and featured similar reviews, tips, tricks and articles by Commodore programmers. Just like the magazine it modled itself after it featured type-in programs and tutorials for budding programmes.
The excitement of home computing was a juggernaut that could not be stopped in that era of computing history and dedicated publications like this proved that Commodore 64 lead the way.
