GCE Vectrex Carrying Case

These carrying cases were only available through the Vectrex owner's club via an order form on the back cover of the Passport Magazine. The order form billed it as "Special Vectrex Carrying Case exclusively designed for Vectrekkers on the move. Sturdy and protective canvas case holds your console, cartridges, screen overlays and game instructions. only $13.95!"

These exclusive carry bags are insanely rare and are one of the many Holy Grail items for any Vectrex collection. Occasionally you will find one listed for auction, and the prices go into the stratosphere.

I was lucky to get my Vectrex carrying case for a song.. a guy had a non-functioning vectrex up for auction, and even though he did not mention it in the auction, I noticed the carrying case in the background of one of the images. I asked if the carry case came with the unit and he acknowledged that it did... I bought the broken vectrex with the carrying case for $25. The case has a few water rust stains on it, but I am truly lucky to have it in my collection.
