Vectrex Polar Rescue Game Cartridge - Model VT-3308

(GCE - 1983)

Vectrex Polar Rescue Game Cartridge
This is kind of an odd submarine game that was put out for the Vectrex. It is one of the hardest ones to find and is a prized possession in anyones Vectrex collection. You must maneuver your submarine below the ice sheets under the north pole. You command a powerful and highly maneuverable submarine, you must find the survivors on your sonar screen and rescue the remnants of the ill-fated expedition.
Carefully maneuver through a treacherous mine field but remember to monitor your oxygen level or you are doomed to a watery grave.
You can play either one player or two player mode by taking turns with a single joystick controller. Challenge your friends to see who can rescue the survivors to save the day.
This is one of the most lackluster games for the Vectrex and the game play for this cartridge rates 5-10, controls 5-10, and overall 5-10. The novelty of commanding a submarine is the only bright spot of this game.
