Vectrex Rip Off Game Cartridge - Model VT-3102

(GCE - 1982)

Vectrex Rip Off Game Cartridge
In this fun little game, you must battle scavenging pirates who are trying to steal your fuel cells! But beware, the more pirates you kill, the faster their replacements become. You must guard your tanks while being constantly outnumbered.
The game is pretty customizable as you have sixteen different modes, with a different number of fuel cells and pirates.
You can play either one player or two player mode. A second joystick controller is required for two player simultaneous mode.
This is a unique game that has some good action but gets old pretty fast... the game play for this cartridge rates 7-10, controls 7-10, and overall 7-10. Unless you are playing with a friend, this game would get pretty repetitious.

Awesome game [and website!] Probably my fav 2-player vectrex game. The arcade was a blast. I can recall seeing the movie TRON and going to the arcade after the movie. TRON was always lined up with quarters, but RIP OFF was the second best for my cousin and I. We played this game for hours. It's just as good on the VECTREX system.
