Vectrex Star Trek Game Cartridge - Model VT-3107

(GCE - 1982)

You must captain the starship Enterprise through nine sectors of space to find and destroy the Klingon mothership, but you must be careful, Klingon and Romulan vessels are hiding everywhere. You must ensure the safety of the Federation of Planets.

You can play either one player or two player mode where each player takes a turn with a single joystick controller. You can select which of the first eight sectors contains the black hole which is a shortcut to the Klingon mothership.

You can shoot enemy ships and their torpedoes, but if you miss one, you can raise your shields to mitigate the damage.

In my opinion, game play for this cartridge rates 6-10, controls 7-10, and overall 6-10. It is a fun game, but gets old pretty fast, but is much better when competing against a friend.
