Mattel Aquarius Multicart Game Cartridge - Model 002

(Jay Snellen III - 2010)

Aquarius Multi-Cart Game Cartridge
This Mattel Aquarius multicart is the second in the series and contins 8 other titles that were not included on the first multi-cart. When the production cartridges are made they will contain all 16 titles, but since Jay was limited to 128k on these prototypes, only 8 titles can be put on a single cartridge.
Just like the first one, this prototype cartridge looks awesome. There is a series of three switches on the end of the cartridge to select which game to play, while the games and switch positions are conveniently listed on the end label.
The benefits of this cartridge are threefold. One, it is sooooo convenient to be able to play any of the 8 games just by simply setting the switches and turning the machine on. Two, there is less wear and tear on your cartridge port and game cartridges by not having to switch cartridges. Three, it contains some hard to find titles that may not be in your collection. And let's face it, it is pretty darn cool!
Just like the first, I would say that this second cartridge rates a solid 9-10. So if you want a great diversion on your Aquarius, you just have to get a multicart.
