Magical Chase Hu Card (Game Cartridge)

(NEC - 1991)

TurboGrafx Magical Chase Game Cartridge
Magical Chase is a super cute and super fun shooter that just gets a solid A+ for its pure entertainment value. You play ripple a young witch who disobeys her teacher and opens up a spellbook and six demons jump out and scurry off. You must find the demons and return them to the tome or your teacher will turn you into a toad.
It is so much fun flying around on your broom, knocking the enemies out of the sky with the help of two star elves, Topsy and Turvy. Some of the characters you meet along the way are fun as well... one reminds me of Jack Pumpkin head of Oz or Jack Skellington from the Nightmare Before Christmas.
The overall feel of the game is just plain enjoyment. It has the same warm and fuzzy feel as the Kiki's Delivery Service anime.
I would say that the game play for this cartridge rates 9-10, controls 8-10, and overall 9-10. If you like cutesy fun at its finest, then you will definitely want to pick up a copy of this game and play the living heck out of it.
