Ordyne Hu Card (Game Cartridge)

(NEC - 1989)

TurboGrafx Ordyne Game Cartridge
Ordyne is a horizontal shooter that could have been done better in my opinion, there isn't much variety. I felt like i was just moving up and down with the fire button depressed. That's not how to keep people's attention in a game. This is one of those good 15 minute distraction games and not much more.
Flying your little red ship, you must shoot all the enemies from the sky, collecting crystals along the way. These crystals can be used to buy special weapons, powerups and extra lives.
The only semi-bright point in this game is the cute anime girl who owns the weapons store, Miyuki-chan.
I would say that the game play for this cartridge rates 5-10, controls 8-10, and overall 6-10. If you intend on spending more than just a few minutes playing before you get bored and try a different title, don't bother with this one.
