TurboGrafx Turrican Game Cartridge
Turrican began its life as a demo on my beloved Commodore 64 platform. This blew people out of the water with the graphics they didn't belive the C64 was capable of. The full game wound up being ported to just about every game system in existence.
In this great platformer shoot-em-up, you play Turrican, a bio-engineered mutant warrior who needs to save colonists from the terra-forming computer, MORGUL, which has run amok.
You need to battle through five worlds and various bio-engineered enemies to reclaim the planet for human colonization.
I would say that the game play for this cartridge rates 8-10, controls 7-10, and overall 8-10. You will find the various worlds fun and the graphics a delight in this one.
